Dan Wesson problem

I won a DW Pointman 7 on GB. Shooting 230 gr roundnose, half of the rounds hang up on the feed ramp. The feedramp has a mirror finish. The hood has a barely perceptible lip. Could this be the cause of the hang ups? This happens with both DW and Wilson mags.

Normally, I would preach the "polish the hell out of the feed ramp" theory, but it seems you've already done that. I sent your post to my gunsmith, I'll report back if he comes up with a solution. Good luck

The picture is not a "Controlled Feed" At this point in the process tghe round should be well under the Extractor. If you were nearby I'd be happy to take a look. Troubleshooting via the internet is as effective as remote classes for kids.
