I'll start this thread and keep a running total for this Forum and another Forum this is being put up on.
PM or post on this thread and I'll compile the list. When we hit the magic number we'll gather the money and place the order with P-1.

adding i got 28500 and Rebelgt1 asked for 1000, or if he could order.

Thanks Tigerstripe. I forgot to re-total. Rebelsgt1 asked to join and I'm all for it. I won't put anything down for someone until it is written out as a request such as, 1K 124gr or 2000 115gr. I don't want any mistakes or hurt feelings.

Thanks again, Dave

As the monkey said when he got his tail caught in the meat grinder, 'It won't be long now!"

I spoke with the officer at SCBT about an account that would protect everyone and still bee reasonable to set up. Needs a fair amount of paperwork and a Tax ID number. I have several already and do not want another one. An escrow acct. is merely an acct. set-up by an interested party that isn't really as safe as I thought. It would also involve the Feds when a check for $12,000.00 was drawn on it. No thank you. I really don't want to be handling this much of other people's money without some safe guards or checks and balances. Of course, last but not least is sales tax on in state purchases.
Help me out with a solution.

I hate to put this off on Jeff, but I think sales tax will be his issue. He's the retailer after all.

I have a trust account I use with my law firm, but again the feds will be involved with a check over $10k.

I would suggest cashier's checks/USPS money orders from buyers made out to P1, and someone to collect them all. That way we've got certified funds, with easy traceability if the deal falls through. The person collecting can't abscond with the $ as they're not made out to him. And since no single check should be over $10k, all Jeff has to do is deposit them in chunks instead of all at once.

Also bear in mind that to ship ammo you're talking UPS only and have to be ORM-D.

Thanks Mike,
I think we have it covered. The sales tax for Mt Pleasant is 8.5%. Jeff will either get cash or checks with sales tax figured in.
My order is being purchased out of state so no problem and the very large order is out of state. No big checks or shipping. If you get over to the store you can pay as you wish. If I need to get it and meet you I'll be happy to do it.

The + marks are for people who I know have made arrangements to pick-up ammo.
Rebelsgt1, Please contact me about payment and delivery. PM me and we get together on the phone.
