They cannot be serious about this.

For remans? If this was posted on 4/1 maybe it would make sense but to charge that they have to be out of their effin minds. I can get ammo cheaper on armslist.

click on 45 ammo bulk packs.

1000 jhp costs $700.

1000 sjhp 185 gr costs $435.

got to be a missprint.

Just got back from Grady's, no 9mm.

They did have some 40 and 45 though. Good bit of .380.

At "The Gun Doctor" around 2 pm....They had some 40 cal and 45 acp...Probably won't last long.

i stopped at academy today, got my 1 box of 762x39.

i asked the lady if i could get someone to "buy" another box and i pay for it.

she said as long as she didnt see it so i asked a couple of people that werent buying ammo.

you might could call it a straw ammo purchase but thats not illegal.

you would have thought i was asking people to help me rob the place.

TS, only YOU would have the cohones! I wish I could have seen that. Maybe we should do a hidden camera. Did you get anyone to do it?

nobody would. would you not?

i did it for this older guy at PSA with 556, limit of 5, he walked with 10.

where can i recruit 9 people not buying their own bullets?

or better, i wanted 762x39. get a few guys that want other cals, we all buy 3 cals, i get the 762, you get 3 of 223 he gets 3 of the 40......

walking out with 20 bullets is rediculous.

Me thinks some of the local gun shops do some thing similar to this.
I've seen gripes on Armslist of the guy who brings his family and friends. So what's Academy's price on 762x39 anyway? What's the lowest case price at the recent funshow? From what I saw, the entire "shortage" was laid out on tables. I anticipate a buyers market coming soon to a funshow near you.

I saw 7.62x39 prices from $310/1000 to $700+/1000 rounds at the Greenville show.
The $310 was for steel case polymer coated, at a small table. They had a big sign advertising $0.31 per round. Since I don't have an AK I didn't pay too much attention.

tax included $6.35/20.

in 50 days you can have a case costing $317.50 plus gas.

Just heard this past Saturday WalMart in Pickens had shelves full and a large 2-level cart full. Limit 3. Had 100 rd 22LR $7, 100 rd 223 $26. Second hand info, so don't shoot the messenger if you are disappointed.

Bought my one box of WInchester .22LR for $3.29 at Academy in Easley this morning. They had about a dozen boxes remaining.

If anyone 'sees' or 'hears' of any CCI Standard Velocity or CCI Subsonic 22lr OR anything in 300 Blackout (or Hornady 300 Whisper) either online or in stock in the upstate, please post it PDQ. Thanks!

please tell me you guys arent paying those prices.

when they , if they come back, PSA had 6000 223 projectiles for $500. doesnt help if you dont reload, i know.

well, i just checked gun deals dot com (and ammo). 51 then 68 cents are the cheapest. BUT academy and walmart arent listed anymore.

i must be way out of the loop. all ive been buying is 762x39. i had $25 in my pocket and got 4 boxes again. steel but thats $300/1000 plus tax.

a guy had a u tube about how to see what walmart is getting in. walmart changed their web page so you cant anymore.
