I'm looking to make some delicious burgers, and I've been looking at some home meat grinding.

I have a Kitchen Aid, but as looking at getting this grinder, https://amzn.to/2USs4Xy
It's only $29 - and seems kind of cheap...but then again, it's probably made in China. (it's plastic)

I've also seen a metal one that is much more expensive, $80 https://amzn.to/2OmIXXS

Buy once, Cry once. At a minimum, you will want 1/3 horsepower, steel auger-blades-discs. Discs of varying size as well. Of course, cost increases as the HP does. Don't cheap out.

Of the two I'd recommend you go with the Kitchenaid grinder. I've had one for about 10 years that I use on our 6 qt. mixer and it works great, I use it for making sausage.

So do you use the plastic one or the metal one?

I think the one we have is metal. I would have to ask the wife, we've had it five or six years
