easily my favorite 1911 is my Ithaca, When I purchased it I had just purchased a Les Baer. If I had purchased the Ithaca first I would have had no need for the LB.
I believe Ithaca does not have a strong marketing dept or these would be way more popular

Saw an Ithaca in the case at a gun shop yesterday. The next time I'm there, I'll have to take a closer look.

They make a Hand Fit and Pro Fit. I have not handled the Pro Fit

Buffalo Trading in Findlay Ohio usually has one or two to check out, at least they have each time I've been there. Nice firearms and I've kind of wanted one since I had first seen them and discovered they're made in upper Sandusky Ohio (1-1/2hrs or so from me) This is the only time I've ever seen someone else mention them.
