Hello. Name is Ken, live in SW PA, have been shooting since 1958. Bought first M-1911 Colt in 1958. It is one of my "keep forever" pistols. When I purchased, it had been nickel plated, adjustable sights installed, and plastic target grips added. Over the last 60 years, it has had the nickel plating removed, original military sights installed, original type walnut checkered grips installed, it has been refinished to a early parkerized finish. I wish that I was in as good of shape, than it is!
