Old New Guy

Not old as in old, but old as in I joined here in 2019 and just now got around to making a post!

I have three flavors of 1911 currently, a Springfield Ronin 10mm and two frankenguns: Springfield .45 with some previous owner "upgrades" and a stainless Norinco with "upgrades"
I am a digital printer by trade, but a hand engraver on the side.

Currently looking to get my franken-Norinco back to being full Norinco (or close to it) and wanting to finalize some artwork to engrave on the Ronin.

I'm 34 and have been shooting 1911s for probably close to 20 years. My favorites have always been Norincos (save for one Colt in .38 super that a friend of mine had).

I'm always on the hunt for a blued one.

The Norinco's were sometimes more milspec than some higher end 1911's were in their day.
