Other Hobbies - What do you all do besides shoot?

I like to cook, I also garden and I spin yarn and knit. My dogs are a big part of my life too.

I got a new mustang last year, so that takes up most of my free time now. My wife and I are getting involved in the local Mustang club, going to car shows and cruise-ins. I enjoy hunting when I have the chance. I love being out on the lake in the summers drinking a few beers.

I also make my own beer, which is fun, but involves a lot of cleaning. On the plus side, it's great drinking your own homemade beer!

I used to have a bunch of other obsessions but I got married and have three kids.

Now I have no time, less money, and too many commitments.

Nice shots. I dabble in photography a little too but mostly air shows and scenery. People have always been a challenge for me. I have some lights and stuff but I haven't had much of a chance to play with them the past few years.

Where was the business?

I was in the fish biz (retail stores) from the early 80's until 2001.

I like it!

Looks like you were a little further upriver from where I took mine.

I don't know that are well enough to know what is off-limits and what's not.

Nice photos, all of you guys. rbphoto- is that a brown or a brookie in the first pic? Trout fishing is one of my all-time favorites and don't get to do enough of it. I usually fish the Chattooga or the Oconaluftee, rarely the Eastatoe, and have been on the Davidson and Nantahalla (but can't afford the NC out-of-state licenses). Good for you. BTW-I'm not the least bit shy about keeping what I catch (when legal). Best tasting fish God ever made!

That was actually taken at the hatchery at the Davidson - I've fished that river for the last 20 years - pretty much the entire stretch.

I don't get to the Chatt so much anymore but I still like the Gorge section of the East.

Mostly bluelines in NC & SC with a trip to the Smokies every couple of years or so. Headed to Hazel Creek mid-may this year!
