Some time ago I found a link on YouTube to some very high velocity rounds for 9mm firearms, using lighter than usual projectiles.
After having watched the video, I was curious about this ammo, but not so curious as to pay the steep price the ammo cost.
Not long after watching the video, I saw some 9mm (.355") 50 gr. JHP bullets advertised for sale on a website.
There was no mention of the brand of these bullets, they have a "white" ( not brass or yellow) color with a shiny appearance.
I purchased a bag (500) of them to try them.
When purchased, as there was no load data supplied, I am posting to ask ..does anyone have any load data for this light of weight bullet?
A powder to use, as well as starting / max load data available ?
If not, does anyone know the manufacturer of these bullets ?, so I can contact them for some data ?
Thanks in advance for a helpful reply

added: did a YouTube search & found the 50gr bullets seem to be used in the video I watched, which is for "Liberty Civil Defense 9mm Ammo"
the bullets I purchased appear to be identical in appearance to those used in the Liberty ammo.

About the only thing I can offer, is to find some data for the 90gr. bullets, start there, and work upwards until you hit a sweet spot.. I would think that a bullet that short is going to be a challenge to get to feed properly. It's going to need a very fast powder, like Bullseye, Clays, or maybe AA #2.
I'm not a real fan of the lighter bullets, though I used to like the old Speer 100gr. JHPs when I was getting started. Nowadays, because I load for both 9mm and .38 Super, I tend to use, at a minimum, a 115gr., and would prefer a good 124-125gr. bullet, so I could use them in both cartridges.
Good luck with your quest.

I searched online for data..no one has a recipe for getting the velocities advertised by Liberty .. but I've tried a few powders.
From my online searching, I read that Winchester Auto Comp generated the highest velocities I found, so I bought a pound & tried a 9.0 gr. charge.
Also loaded some with 7.6 gr. of HS-6, another load I found online. The Auto Comp loads were hotter.
Have not chrono'd the round, but it does zip... There were no signs of excessive pressure found in cases shot thru my AR-9 or 9mm 1911.
The bullets aren't short, I have experienced No feeding issues in all firearms I've used in shooting my loads.

found a post that said this:
I run 16" 9mm AR 15, and plus P loads can be used. The 9mm is a small case ...so its limited.
I run 50 gr copper to over 2600 fps, 115 gr 1720 fps, 124 gr 1600 fps, 147 gr 1300 fps, 155 fmj 1200 fps. ..with mostly Blue Dot powder.
Too hot for handguns.... and only safe in my AR 15. So Warning : work up and use at your own risk!
115 gr Hornaday Hap 8.5 gr Blue Dot 1.090" COAL
124 gr HST 8.3 gr Blue Dot 1.130" COAL
50 gr copper HP 9.0 gr Auto Comp COAL 1.120" 2600 fps. ( I recall I loaded my loads to the same length.)
it's accurate in my rifle ...but it sheds velocity fast. A fun plinker for reactive targets, and functions well in AR, with the Stern adapter and Glock mags...and 1966 fps in Glock 26...this is the only dual load..but it is ➕ P...mostly an AR load, with an AR 15 set up properly, with heavy adjustable buffer with a few tungsten weights added, so all the AR 15 9mm loads are .1 gr under max in load books or ➕ p loads.

At the risk of necroposting, I too suffered the same dilemma. Out of my 4.25" bbl, 6.0gr of titegroup averaged me 1830 FPS. No pressure signs and they cycled well. Hoping to work with a few other powders and get it into the 2150-2200 FPS arena.

I've got to get my chrono out & try to get it working..was given a 2nd chrono from a friend a year or so ago, haven't tried using it either.
I would suggest trying Autocomp powder,, if you can find it if you're looking for high velocity. I tried 9.0 gr w/o any issues.
Autocomp provided the highest velocitiy from the limited data I found when loading those 50gr. HP pills, w/o excessive pressure signs. as always, YMMV. ;)

Got to try out 6.5gr of Titegroup today, eeked out an average of 1990 fps in the ten rounds I loaded up. Primers were just beginning to show signs of pressure. Will definitely be working up with Autocomp, I appreciate the advice! I think I'm also going to try BE86 as it's been a dandy for light bullets loadings in 9mm for me.
