Hi Everyone;

Today I was very nicely surprised to get my letter of approval from the OSBI. My CCW application period was only about 30 days! I guess I must be squeaky clean, what?

Here is my snub .38 spl. A circa 1973 Colt Cobra, nickel. It was my Pap's and he carried it the last 15 years of his career with US Steel Gary Works. That's Gary, Ind., BTW. Not a happy place. My family always felt better when Pap had his little friend with him. Now it can serve me well. I exchanged the original wood grips for the Pachmyrs. Shooting it is no longer painful.

Some of you saw me shoot it at Heartland CCW shoot in March. It was very loud, and I was happy with my ability with it. Incidently, my wife shoots this weapon very well, although the Pachmyr's are too big for her. The orginal grips work for her.

Tally Ho!

Yeah Yeah, it's a Taurus... It shoots nice and was cheap enough where I don't mind roughing it up. It was the smallest .357 I could find and at $350 I don't regret it at all.View attachment 2509

Revival of the snubby thread:

Charter Arms Undercover (all steel) .38 Special. Rumor has it this gun might have been inside the waistband of Accurate Ron at one time.

Very nice mid-80's gun with a beautiful case hardened hammer. Just a couple weeks late for the Snub Nose Championships
