Which is why FeeBee w/ their Girly-Men and chair-warmers went-to and advocate for the real Police a small gun in an ineffective caliber so everyone can qualify. Sad.

If you want to see something else that is sad, look into the history of the FBI-cant holster.

The 10 mm is what I carry as well in bear country. We travel a lot in griz country where I'm most concerned when on a trail hiking.
Used to carry the Ruger Stainless Redhawk in .44 mag in a shoulder holster, but it's so danged heavy and only has 6 shots.
In reality, during a bear charge, one is probably not going to get off 6, but the 10mm gets one back on target quicker.
Big fan of the Underwood solid coppers for penetration.

Due to its superior sectional density and good ballistic coefficient ( for pistol caliber) the 10 mm. has very good penetration.
The .41 Magnum is even better . But during a bear attack getting 3 or 4 shots off would be an exceptionally fine response. You'd never have to reach for your speedloader.

I have been carrying a Glock 29 10mm. I guess if I didn't carry this it would be my model 33, 357 Sig. Best guess is either one would be too much for FBI???
