Congrats to you and your bride.

I've been newlywed for 27 years now. I'd be lost without her.

HAHAHA - she marked it on a freakin calendar?!?!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA - I will NEVER get married now......F-THAT!!!!!!

What's wrong with the calendar? I call it bragging rights!!!! And if we find we are at each others throats pretty easily you can look at the calendar and its almost always been about a week.

If no other reason to get married Benjamin got it right, I get laid 2 times a week, every week! Very few single guys can say that, especially when they are as fat as me.

yeah people that aren't married don't understand, because they have the hollywood idea that it must be spontaneous...

I love my minivan - it was so great trading my Black 2 door sports car for it, I'd do it again every time. Man, marriage is the best thing.... who the hell am I kidding :(

Congratulations Jeremy. No matter what some [single guys] might say, marriage is the best thing to happen to me ever! I can't even imagine being single, not do I want to..................20 years and counting

Yes it changes everything, but life changes anyway

Me and my "best half" are closing in on 29 years this coming December! It's been a pretty good run, and barring something catastrophic, I see it continuing for a long time to come. I just never could get her interested in shooting though. Actually that's probably a good thing!

I have the pics of taymoor playing tactical Borat...

Benjamin -- PM ME! And tell me everything you can about these books and where I should look for information as my marriage is in shambles. I'm already in the poor house so next step is the gutter, would rather avoid that.

I wish you the best of luck bro.

Good for you for trying to repair your relationship, I hope she's putting in the same effort.

Thanks Wall. I'd love to vent, but this isn't the place for that.
I hear ya, That's what your close buddies are for (& getting you drunk at the strip bar :D ). This is a place where you can come & find out what's going on in the gun world & pick up a few laughs while you're at it :D .

I hope things work out for you.

I hope that you harboring a picture of me in my borat suit isn't the reason for any of your marital distress... O0

Just kidding. But we'll talk it out sometime.

My wife doesn't call me when she buys a new coach purse so I don;t call her when I buy a new gun. I just have to keep count of how many purses she buys and how much she spends. That way when I spend $1,500.00 on a new gun she can't say my one purse didn't cost that much. I just remind her that the purses she bought over the last 6 months did

My wife bought me this as an engagement present.

And this as a wedding present.

And I bought her a S&W wheelgun, because she prefers them over semi-auto pistols.

I will have been married for 20 years this December and I don't care what anybody else says, the key to a successful marriage can be summed up in 2 words... separate finances. It's kind of like gays in the military..don't ask/don't tell. We have a household checking account that the majority of the money goes into that we both use for all the normal stuff, but we also each have a separate checking account of our own. If I want to buy a gun I buy it out of my account, if I sell a gun the money goes into my account. There is never that awkward "what was this $1500 charge for" conversation and there is no tension over who is using "our" money for things the other might find unnecessary.

that's the key....well that and watching plenty of hard core midget porn...
