Got it with less than fifty rounds through it from the second owner in 2003. It bled the first two owners.
I have upwards of ten k through it, shot it in IDPA CDP, and have carried it daily since I got it.
The only fail I recall was ammo related.
The only time I ever doubted it was after it was taken by a POS deputy during a traffic stop(stupid MI laws). I had to reconfirm it was dead reliable.
I hate Glocks....I only own eight ish...

I bought a brand new Glock 21 the day after I shot a friend's.. (mine's older ..Gen. 2 or 2.5-I've had it awhile) I liked the idea of a large capacity .45.
Though I bought a Lone Wolf barrel for mine ( to safely shoot lead bullets) I still haven't shot it much,
& don't consider it my favorite non 1911 in 45acp.

My favorite would be a W.German made Sig 220.. or for high capacity a Para Ordinance P-14 ( not a 1911, more of a 2011) in SS I bought new on a "closeout sale" shortly after Para closed their doors. MY P-14's been flawless in it's performance.

FN FXH 45. I picked one up at a gunshow recently after wanting one for several years. I wasn't disappointed!

GLOCKS WORK...how can you not like that? Do love my HK USP .45ACP... But have 6 Glocks, all sizes, all 9mm... all work great... not pretty like my Kimber Classic Custom... or my revolvers... great to have choices...

Mine only non-1911 .45 acp is a HiPoint pistol. When i purchased it I put 3 magazines through it and it worked. LOL so it is my favorite other 45 acp since it is the only other 45 ACP that I own.
PS I do not count my paraordinance P14 since I consider it to be of the 1911 system.

I'd have to say my favorite is this HK Mark 23. It is too big to have much practical purpose, but it is fun to shoot. After that would be the HK USP Compact 45. I carried it for years and never a hiccup. My Glock 45s are practically bullet proof too but Glocks are just boring

I bought my Star Starfire M45 back in the 90s.
At first I had problems with this pistol. It would run perfectly with lightweight + P loads
but FTF & FTE with hard ball. Weird huh?

By accident I found a cracked recoil guide rod, it was hollow.
My friend made a new solid rod for me & problem solved.

This heavy little 45acp is fun to shoot, @ 36 ozs the recoil is very manageable.
This 45 acp will chamber empty cases with ease so any cartridge you want to shoot.
