Owww, give me the semi-amateur stage!Jesse Tischauser said:Here is a video from the MVSA Multi Gun Melee. This stage was the toughest stage of the match and one of the toughest I've shot all year. Lots of brain powered required to remember everything!

Thanks to all the people I've met along the way who have guided me in the right direction for gear and training / coaching I'm seeing some real improvement in my abilities.
The difference in the pistol is pretty amazing! The amount of muzzle flip reduction is crazy.JPeel said:then, and now

And they say competing shooting isn't good training. Sounds like good cheap training to me.JPeel said:Ian, yes it's been one helluva fun year! I live for the beep now
Jesse, that's a 45 in the first video and I'd never shot like that before. I'm using a g34 now. I've had one lesson with a gm on pistol which resulted in me using a glock instead of an m&p and changing my grip. But the rest has just been training with some really good shooters, mainly James Darby.
I don't know who "they" are but any time I can shoot a match I take the opportunity. I learn something every time out. I'm going to work in some pistol matches this year when I can, just to get more competition time in. If I get to the point in this sport when I'm not learning something, then I'll have to stop because I will have lost all touch with reality.Jesse Tischauser said:And they say competing shooting isn't good training. Man your doing great for first 3 gun, your shotgun loading needs work but you look way better than most for a first match, certainly better than mine.Eric_williams said:
