The difference in the pistol is pretty amazing! The amount of muzzle flip reduction is crazy.

Have you actually taken any classes or have you just gotten advice from other shooters?

Ian, yes it's been one helluva fun year! I live for the beep now :)

Jesse, that's a 45 in the first video and I'd never shot like that before. I'm using a g34 now. I've had one lesson with a gm on pistol which resulted in me using a glock instead of an m&p and changing my grip. But the rest has just been training with some really good shooters, mainly James Darby.

And they say competing shooting isn't good training. Sounds like good cheap training to me.

I don't know who "they" are but any time I can shoot a match I take the opportunity. I learn something every time out. I'm going to work in some pistol matches this year when I can, just to get more competition time in. If I get to the point in this sport when I'm not learning something, then I'll have to stop because I will have lost all touch with reality.
